The PCA ScallopEdgers in either Fine or
the one version in Bold are neat, speedy edging tools that
create and cut very small or larger scallops along the edge of project, removing
excess paper as it goes ( like our PCA StampEdges do with a straight line
result) ....in no time flat!
It leaves such a dainty and delicate edge, you won't be
able to resist it for feminine projects and frilly results. It will also go
through the layers of an insert for your card at the same time if the insert
is not too thick. Use your judgment and never force a tool where you feel too
much resistance, however, the effect of multi layers of ruffled scallop edging
that match exactly look terrific!
Wax tool occasionally for ease of use.
Demo of Fine Scallop family...

Do think about using the opposite
side, ie, the paper that remains after creating an edge of scallops ( or
combination with perhaps the ArcEdge and SmallScallopEdge) ... as the reverse
side is also attractive being left with soft peaks in the paper.

Project Idea
IIt makes a superb tiny flower that
can be used as a 3d element on your cards, made in a flash with your
BOLD SEMICIRCLE ( form a circle shape with 2 perforations) .... then using
your PCA ScallopEdge... line it up around the outside circumference of the
circle, perforating as you go to create and cut the petals around the centre
of the flower. Form a cup shape with your FlowerPal and add it in
multitude to your spring blossom style cards. Tint the paper first with
oil pastels or use coloured parchment for added
dimension. Why not sprinkle a little glitter on the
centre of each little flower after adding a dot of adhesive for elegant
sparkle?
