SECTION 6 -ECCENTRIC ROLLS Eccentric rolls are a variation of the pinched shapes made with a basic loose roll, but are more structural in their finish. The loops inside the roll are pushed into one direction and glued in place instead of being allowed to just form naturally. You will want to have a quiller's design board for ease of making all the shapes equal size and positioning of loops. The loose roll is placed in the recessed hole of the board and a pin is used to hold the chosen loops to spread to one side until they are glued at their meeting point. Note PCA does not manufacture nor sell these design boards, for general information only.
Here are a few to try, there are more but you can experiment with variations on these basics... they are not hard but do need that board and so maybe considered a little more advanced.
Glue at the meeting point, leaving pin in place till adhered, twist pin if you need to remove when ready to use.
I suggest that you now try PROJECT 1 ...which is a basic floral bunch on a greeting card. |
